Overview
This course is for people who already have the theory. It is possible that the theory for the 1 Star course or SSI/PADI OWD is done in advance, i.e. at home, either online or with an instructor.
Prerequisites
• To participate in the diving course you must be in good health and at least 14 years old.
• Provide proof of completed theory.
• No previous diving knowledge is required, but swimming skills are required.
About the course:
The basic training to become CMAS 1-STAR DIVER (T*) / OWD.
Training as a recreational diver deluxe: 5 days, 7 dives, 3 theory lessons and lots of sea!
From day one you will dive in the Red Sea with SUBEX and not only learn to dive, but also experience the fascinating underwater world of the Red Sea.After completing the SUBEX diving course, you will be so well equipped that with your diving license you can dive anywhere in the world in a guided group to a maximum depth of 18 meters.
Prerequisite:
In order to complete this course, you must provide proof that you have successfully completed the CMAS 1 Star/ SSI or PADI OWD theory level. Proof can be provided via the online system or with a pre-printed form from the respective association/organization. If this is the case, you do not have to complete the theory units Physics, Anatomy and Physiology and Diving Accidents. However, you must complete the theory units on diving equipment, ecology and dive calculations, as they are only included in this form in the SUBEX diving course. If you wish, you can take part in all theory units, even if you can prove that you have completed the theory at home.
Course content:
- 7 dives: The diving themes of discovery, trust, partners, help, safety and adventure build on each other and all take place directly in the sea - not an easy pool lesson!
- 3 theoretical units of materials science, ecology & Dive calculation (must be completed, as these are only included in this form in the SUBEX Diver course.
Aim of the course:
- The aim of the course is quite simply to learn to dive.
- The students learn in small groups of at least 2 but no more than 4 persons how to use their equipment, to breathe under water and to move around, to react in dangerous situations and to protect the coral reef as a habitat by environmentally conscious action.

- The diving course is certified with CMAS 1 Star.
- SSI Open Water Diver certification is available on request and at an additional cost.
